Additional hygiene products, such as body lotion, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shaving kit, feminine hygiene items, shower cap, sewing kits can be obtained free of charge at the reception at any time.

Additional pillows/blankets       

For additional pillows or comforters, please contact the reception. We have 3 different pillows to choose from. This service is free of charge

Bathrobe

We will be happy to bring you a bathrobe to your room upon request. Please contact the reception (internal phone no. 9).

Bank / Post office

The nearest bank "Berner Kantonalbank BEKB" is located just opposite our hotel on the Bundesplatz. The nearest post office is located in the Postparc on Schanzenstrasse, right next to the train station.

In case of earlier departure, please inform the reception until the evening before. We will gladly prepare a breakfast "to go" for you with coffee or tea, mineral water, fruit and a small sandwich.

Car / Parking

You can drive up to the hotel to deposit the luggage. Afterwards the car must be parked. We recommend the public parking garage Casino (about 5 minutes away) or City West (about 10 minutes away).

Change of bedding

On request we change your bedding daily. Please contact the reception. Otherwise, the bedding is changed only every third day.

Cooking

Cooking is not allowed in the hotel rooms for security reasons. In case of violation you will be charged a fee of CHF 150.00.    

Currency exchange

The currency exchange counter at the train station is open Mon to Fri 7.00 am - 7.30 pm, Sat 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Sun and holidays 9.00 am - 7.00 pm

Emergency alert

- The reception is occupied from 6.15 am- 5.30 am. Night bell at the main entrance.
- Inform the reception immediately.
- Fire extinguishers and extinguishing posts are clearly marked in every corridor.
- There is an escape plan and fire information in each room.
- Emergency exits are marked in green on each floor.

Encasing                   

Your pillow as well as mattress will provide you with optimal protection without chemical additives. Thanks to a new cover inside the pillow resp. the mattress you will be especially well protected from house dust and mites. It is also suitable for allergy sufferers and asthmatics.

Fast check-out

You can pay your hotel bill at check-in or sign us a credit card authorization. For invoices for the attention of the company we need a written cost transfer

You have the possibility to copy 24h at the reception. CHF 0.20 per page.

Heating

The heater in the room can be regulated manually. If you want additional heating in the room, please contact the reception.

Iron / ironing board              

There is an ironing station on level Z (intermediate floor)

Ice cubes

If you want ice, please contact the reception. This service is free of charge.

Laundry service  

Deposit of your laundry before 8.00 am- return the same day before 6.00 pm. No service on Saturdays, Sundays and general holidays.
In the "Z" intermediate floor you will find a washing machine and a tumble dryer to wash your clothes yourself free of charge. You can get the detergent for CHF 3.00 at the reception.

Luggage deposit

You can leave your luggage at our hotel on arrival or departure.

Security / Valuables

We kindly ask you not to leave your valuables in your room, no liability will be assumed in case of loss. Room safe in the closet at your free disposal.

A shoe polishing machine is available on the intermediate floor (Z)

Slippers are available upon request at the reception.

Taxi                           

Reservation via the reception. Waiting time approx. 15 minutes.

Towels

For the sake of the environment, we will only replace the towels, which are in the shower or bathtub.

Umbrellas are available at the reception for a deposit of CHF 10.00.
